Where it leads
Strictly Rhythm
The New York house label where a raw dub and a vocal anthem shared the same catalogue.
Chicago House
A drum machine, a cheap sampler and a church-raised voice — the blueprint every dance record still borrows.
Trax Records
The Chicago label at the origin of house: cheap pressings, foundational tracks.
