One record at a time, and the reason for each step.

Austin Post-Rock

Instrumental Texas music built on patience: guitars that swell instead of riff, drone that behaves like weather.

Japanese Post-Rock & Math Rock

Clean twin guitars, drums played as lead instrument, odd meters delivered like pop — Tokyo and Kyoto, 2000 onward.
