Where it leads
'90s Bremen Hardcore
North German metalcore before America claimed the word — chaotic, pitch-black and criminally under-pressed.
Chicago House
A drum machine, a cheap sampler and a church-raised voice — the blueprint every dance record still borrows.
Detroit Techno
Drum machines built into science fiction: Black futurism from a collapsing motor city, made for the floor.
