Where it leads
Norwegian Black Metal
Four-track hiss, tremolo guitar as weather, and a Bergen studio that made cold sound like architecture.
Bandung Rock & Metal
Indonesia's band city: a DIY underground so big that metal t-shirts are municipal dress code.
Belo Horizonte Metal
Brazil 1987: four bands, one label, and extreme metal's rawest year zero.
