Where it leads
Poway '90s Punk
A San Diego suburb with one all-ages scene and a band that sold the nineties its grin.
San Diego Post-Hardcore
Hardcore pulled apart at the seams: screamed vocals, spray-painted sleeves, bands that lasted two years each.
Vancouver Punk
The west-coast first wave that coined 'hardcore' — political, tuneful and absurdly early.
