Where it leads
NYC Anti-Folk
The Sidewalk Café songbook: naive on purpose, honest by force, taped on whatever was lying around.
Paisley Underground
Punk kids who kept the fuzzboxes but put the Byrds and Love back on the turntable.
San Francisco Psychedelia
Ballroom bands who stretched blues and folk into twenty-minute jams, pressed before anyone edited them down.
