Where it leads
Los Angeles Punk & Hardcore
Hollywood art-damage flips into beach-city hardcore: faster, shorter, louder, and documented on camera the whole way.
Detroit Garage Revival
Two-guitars-no-bass primitivism, soul covers played wrong, and 7-inches pressed a thousand at a time.
Detroit Proto-Punk
Pull this thread and you get Michigan guitar noise from 1969 ballrooms to 1999 basements, unbroken.
