Where it leads
Boston Hardcore
Straight edge muscle and metallic fury — two generations of Boston kids taking hardcore personally.
Austin Post-Rock
Instrumental Texas music built on patience: guitars that swell instead of riff, drone that behaves like weather.
Chicago Post-Rock
Rock instruments played like studio tools — dub space, jazz chords, tape edits, vibraphone where the vocal should be.
