Where it leads
Detroit Proto-Punk
Pull this thread and you get Michigan guitar noise from 1969 ballrooms to 1999 basements, unbroken.
Detroit Garage Revival
Two-guitars-no-bass primitivism, soul covers played wrong, and 7-inches pressed a thousand at a time.
Northeast Ohio Punk
Two rust-belt cities, thirty miles apart, inventing punk and art-damage at the same time.
