Where it leads
Detroit Proto-Punk
Pull this thread and you get Michigan guitar noise from 1969 ballrooms to 1999 basements, unbroken.
Leeds Goth & Post-Punk
Northern cities, drum machines, guitars soaked in flange — the sound Leeds built between the art school and the Phono.
London Post-Punk
Punk's wreckage rebuilt with dub space, art-school nerve and cheap studios — London, 1977 to 1982.
