Where it leads
San Francisco Psychedelia
Ballroom bands who stretched blues and folk into twenty-minute jams, pressed before anyone edited them down.
Detroit Garage Revival
Two-guitars-no-bass primitivism, soul covers played wrong, and 7-inches pressed a thousand at a time.
Detroit Proto-Punk
Pull this thread and you get Michigan guitar noise from 1969 ballrooms to 1999 basements, unbroken.
