Where it leads
Memphis Soul
Horn stabs, dragging backbeat, one take: the sound of a house band cutting hits in a converted cinema.
Kingston Dub
Pull the vocal, push the bass: the Kingston rooms where the mixing desk became the lead instrument.
Kingston Rub-a-Dub & Early Dancehall
One riddim, a singer, a deejay — and a whole sound system waiting for its turn.
