Bakersfield Sound

Dust Bowl honky-tonk cut loud and live: Telecasters, pedal steel, no strings, no Nashville polish.

Detroit Proto-Punk

Pull this thread and you get Michigan guitar noise from 1969 ballrooms to 1999 basements, unbroken.

San Francisco Psychedelia

Ballroom bands who stretched blues and folk into twenty-minute jams, pressed before anyone edited them down.
